The library at Burnett State College is well resourced with a collection of approximately eleven thousand items including Fiction, Non Fiction, and Teacher References.
The Library has eight computers to assist our students with their learning studies. Students have access to these computers during their breaks to complete assessment or for other purposes such as school approved online games.
The Library also provides recreational activities during breaks such as chess competitions, card and strategy games. A selection of current magazines is also available for leisure reading.

The Library is opened daily from 8am until 3.15pm
Borrowing policy
All students are encouraged to use the resources of the school library regularly. Students are able to borrow up to six books for a period of 3 weeks. It is the borrower’s responsibility to treat the resources with care and return them by the due date.
Overdue notices are issued to home groups on a regular basis notifying of overdue loans.

The Gale Virtual Reference Library is a digital library with quality non-fiction eBooks from most of the curriculum areas covered at school. Students can also access the Gale ebook referencing platform online from school and at home.
The Gale ebook site requires a password to access, please see the librarian or the IT technician if you want access.
